It’s been 7 months since we convened in St. Louis for a fantastic AXUG Summit event, meaning in just 5 short months we’ll have the opportunity to reconvene in Reno, NV, Oct. 13th-16th, for AXUG Summit 2015. If you haven’t already registered, hopefully hearing what other attendees have to say about their previous experiences can help make your decision easier.
In the most recent edition of the AXUG Magazine, AXUG provided two different attendee perspectives, one from an end user and one from an ISV sponsor (pg 66). I was excited to offer my two cents regarding the value of the conference, especially since I’ve been attending from its inception and in the past 5 years, have been supporting Data Masons’ role as a Premiere sponsor.
Last year there was so much to discuss around Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and how Data Masons’ Dynamics AX EDI solutions can support the evolving landscape of the ERP, especially as Microsoft commits to a more frequent product roll-out schedule. It was also the first time that we asked our customers to share their Microsoft Dynamics AX EDI integration experiences with attendees during our partner showcases. It’s part of what makes Summit so valuable for customers, when they can hear stories by other users who may have a similar requirement, and be able to hear the good, the bad and ask unscripted questions and get real answers.
Having partners and end users work together to share knowledge and experiences with the community is a significant benefit of attending the Summits. That’s why it’s critical we share our Summit experiences and help build a stronger, broader network of community members working together.
“I’M IN” at AXUG Summit 2015 and hope to see you there! Checkout the 2015 Q1 AXUG Magazine online edition for more of my perspective and read an end user’s perspective on the event.
